Paired with a compatible OM Digital Solutions camera, the OLYMPUS Image Share (OI.Share) smartphone app makes photography more enjoyable than ever. With this app, you can release the shutter remotely, then easily import photos from the camera to your smartphone and share your most inspiring moments with friends and family.

1. Easily import photos from the camera to your smartphone
Photos on the camera can be imported via Wi-Fi. You can also simply select photos on the camera to share ahead of time (Share Order Function) to easily and conveniently import photos.

2. Operate the camera from your smartphone
(1) Live View
OLYMPUS Image Share allows you to see the camera's Live View on your smartphone screen. It also lets you operate the camera from your smartphone -- touch your smartphone screen to specify the AF point or release the shutter. You can also adjust camera settings such as shooting mode (iAUTO, P, A, S, M or ART) and drive mode (Single, Burst and Self timer), as well as control the zoom for electronic zoom lenses.
(2) Remote Shutter
In addition, you can choose to control camera settings directly on the camera, and use the smartphone just for releasing the shutter, as if using remote cables. You can "half-press" on your smartphone screen to only focus, and "full-press" to release the shutter.

3. Easy Setup
All you need to do is use OI.Share to scan the QR code displayed on the rear monitor of a compatible camera to easily set up the initial wireless connection settings.
* When using a FlashAir card, use the FlashAir card connection information to connect from the smartphone's Wi-Fi setting screen.

Suddenly Won't Work?

I've had my Olympus E-M10 for years now and I love it! This app has been also incredibly helpful when importing my photos from the camera to my iPhone or iPad for editing. I've literally had no problems with it up until a few months ago. It no longer wanted to connect, but after some digging on the internet, I got it to work again. Since then, it disconnects from the camera after I import two or three photos. I used to import about a dozen at a time with no problem, now it takes forever because I go in an try to import each photo individually - but even that barely works. Hoping for an update or some sort of support - I loved using this app and would love to continue to.

No longer works without cellular data connection!

I have used this app for years. Whenever I travel internationally, with my phone on airplane mode, I have always been able to activate WiFi,
Connect to camera and transfer photos to phone. Much easier to review on phone that camera. On my most recent trip, this no longer works. I get an error about no OM Digital Camera data found. Once I'm back in cell service the app works fine. So I cannot use the App to transfer photos or control my camera if shooting out of cell service range. OM, fix this! Why did this change?

Needs some attention

My single, only use for this app is to take tripod selfies. As such, adding a feature to show a "mirror" view (instead of what the camera sees) would make composing shots feel more natural. Also, as other reviewers have reported, connecting the camera to the app is the jankiest process. Why not use Bluetooth?

My gear: OM-D E-M1 Mark II, and just about every lens available. I've sunk a lot of money into this company. Please show us some love with an app update! Thank you.
